1. What this policy covers
YesToJoin.in is a specialised employment platform serving hospitality, tourism, travel, aviation, transportation, events and related service industries. This policy applies to paid services offered through the platform, where available, including paid job advertisements, employer subscriptions, featured or sponsored listings and other recruitment-related services.
Free accounts and listings, paid listings, recurring subscriptions and enhanced-visibility services may be treated differently. The conditions for a particular order depend on the service selected, the purchase information shown before payment, the transaction status, any service-specific agreement and applicable law. Read this policy together with the platform's Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
2. Free accounts and services
A free account or service has no purchase price to refund. You may stop using a free service or request account closure through the account settings or support channel available to you.
Account closure does not necessarily remove every record that must be retained for legitimate operational, security or legal reasons. Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
3. Cancelling a paid job advertisement
The checkout page or service agreement should explain the listing duration, features, cancellation conditions and refund eligibility before payment is completed.
Before a listing is published
If you request cancellation before publication, a refund may be considered under the purchase terms, payment status, any properly disclosed charges and applicable law. Include your order details and listing reference, if available, when contacting support.
After publication or activation
Once a paid vacancy has been published or the paid visibility period has started, a change of mind or decision to stop advertising does not automatically qualify for a refund. We will assess the request under the relevant service terms and law, including whether the service was delivered as agreed and whether a material service failure occurred.
If the role is filled or withdrawn
If you fill the position, withdraw the vacancy or stop recruiting, update, deactivate or request removal of the listing. Filling or withdrawing a role does not by itself create an automatic right to recover the price of a service already provided, subject to the purchase agreement and mandatory legal rights.
4. Employer subscriptions and renewals
Where recurring subscriptions are offered, the purchase page or agreement should state the price, billing frequency, start and end dates, included features, usage limits, renewal arrangements, cancellation method, treatment of the current paid period, refund conditions and applicable taxes or charges.
Stopping future renewals
You may cancel a future renewal through the designated account controls, where available, or by contacting support. The effective date is governed by the subscription terms and payment arrangement. Where possible, cancellation confirmation should state the date on which renewal stops.
Stopping renewal does not necessarily end the current paid period immediately. It also does not automatically qualify the unused portion of a subscription for a full or partial refund. Eligibility depends on the agreed terms, the circumstances and applicable law.
Price or renewal changes
Any applicable changes to pricing and renewal conditions should be communicated in accordance with the subscription agreement and applicable law. This policy does not authorise undisclosed charges or remove mandatory user rights.
5. Featured and sponsored listings
Where paid featured placement, sponsored visibility or similar services are available, the price, duration and included benefits should be shown before purchase. Enhanced visibility does not guarantee a particular number of views, applications, interviews, hires or recruitment outcomes.
If you cancel after the visibility service has started, refund eligibility will be assessed under the relevant service terms. If the paid feature was not supplied as agreed, contact support for a review and any remedy required by the purchase agreement or applicable law.
6. Situations where a refund may be considered
Subject to the applicable purchase terms and law, a refund or other remedy may be considered where:
- The same transaction was charged more than once.
- Payment was collected but the purchased service was not activated and cannot be provided as agreed.
- A material technical or service failure prevented delivery of a paid feature.
- The relevant purchase terms allow cancellation with a refund.
- A transaction is found to be unauthorised, subject to the relevant investigation and payment process.
- A refund or other remedy is required by applicable law.
Each request is assessed on its own facts. Submitting a request does not itself mean it has been approved.
7. Situations that may not qualify for a refund
Subject to applicable law and the agreed purchase terms, a refund may generally not be available solely because:
- The employer changes its recruitment plans.
- The vacancy is filled sooner than expected or is withdrawn.
- Fewer applications are received than the employer hoped for.
- Applicants do not meet the employer's expectations.
- The employer does not hire a candidate.
- The purchaser changes their mind after the service has been delivered as agreed.
- The listing has already received the agreed visibility period.
- The employer has not supplied the information needed to activate the purchased service.
This section does not exclude a refund or remedy where the service was not delivered as agreed, the payment was processed incorrectly or the law requires a different outcome.
8. Failed, pending or duplicate payments
Bank, network or payment-provider issues can cause a transaction to appear pending, unsuccessful or duplicated. If money has been debited but the purchased service has not become active, contact us with the transaction details so the payment can be checked.
If a duplicate or otherwise refundable transaction is confirmed, an appropriate refund or reversal will be initiated under the payment provider's process and applicable law. A pending transaction may be reversed by the bank or payment provider rather than handled as a separate refund.
Where practicable, avoid paying again for the same order until the transaction status has been checked.
9. How to submit a refund or cancellation request
Contact us using the details in the final section. To help us locate the transaction, include as many of the following details as are relevant:
- Name of the account holder and registered email address.
- Employer or organisation name, where applicable.
- Order number or transaction reference.
- Payment date and amount.
- Name of the purchased service.
- Job listing or subscription reference, if applicable.
- Reason for the cancellation or refund request.
- Supporting evidence where reasonably necessary.
We may request additional details reasonably needed to verify the payment or assess the request. Never send your password, OTP, full card number or other unnecessary sensitive information.
10. Review and refund processing
Requests are reviewed against the transaction details, the applicable purchase terms, service-delivery information and applicable law. If a refund is approved, it will normally be sent to the original payment method where supported by the payment provider, unless another lawful arrangement is agreed.
The time taken for the funds to appear may depend on the bank, payment method and payment provider. We will communicate the decision through an available contact channel where reasonably practicable.
Processing timeframe: A fixed review period and refund turnaround time has not been specified in the source policy. The operating team should confirm and publish a realistic timeframe before this page goes live.
11. Taxes, payment charges and adjustments
Applicable taxes and other charges should be disclosed during purchase. Whether taxes, payment gateway charges or other fees can be retained or adjusted after cancellation depends on the purchase terms, whether the charge is legally recoverable and applicable law. We will not deduct charges that were undisclosed or are legally impermissible.
12. Payment disputes and chargebacks
If you believe a payment was unauthorised or processed incorrectly, contact us and, where appropriate, your bank or payment provider. We may review relevant transaction and service-delivery records when responding to a dispute.
Please provide accurate information when raising a dispute. This policy does not limit any valid right to challenge a transaction through your bank, payment provider or another legally available process.
13. Cancellation by Yes To Join
We may suspend or cancel a paid listing or service where, for example, the listing appears fraudulent, unlawful or materially misleading; the employer breaches the Job Posting Policy or Terms and Conditions; the service cannot lawfully be supplied; a security, compliance or operational issue requires action; or the account or transaction is reasonably suspected to involve fraud.
Whether a refund, credit, replacement service or another remedy is appropriate will depend on the purchase terms, the circumstances and applicable law. We will not use this provision to avoid a refund or remedy to which a user is legally entitled.
14. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy when our services, billing arrangements, payment systems or legal requirements change. The updated version should appear on this page with a revised date. Changes apply in accordance with applicable law and the terms governing the relevant purchase and do not override rights that have already accrued or mandatory legal protections.
